Current Responsibilities
John Albrecht is a senior managing consultant and the global growth leader for Marsh Risk Consulting’s Forensic Accounting and Claims Services (FACS) Practice. Based out of the Houston office, he serves as the FACS South Region leader. John’s responsibilities include supervising a staff of experienced professionals in the preparation and review of damages claims and insurance valuations where accounting expertise applies.
Experience
John joined Marsh Risk Consulting in 2000 as a managing consultant after Marsh’s acquisition of Shore & Azimov where John served as a partner. John focuses his practice on providing forensic accounting services in the measurement of damages, valuations, and financial investigations leading a staff of experienced professionals on assignments, both nationally and internationally. His projects encompass various industries including, but not limited to, petrochemical, power and utility, chemical, manufacturing, mining and metal, retail/wholesale, construction, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, financial, governmental, telecommunications, and food processing.
Since 1985, John has concentrated his practice in financial analysis and forensic accounting in public accounting and consulting. He has participated in the review and measurement of numerous complex damages claims and financial investigations in a wide range of industries and has traveled around the world providing risk solutions to numerous clients. John’s diversified experience includes business interruption and property damage claims, construction claims, environmental claims, fidelity and liability claims, fraud examinations, business valuations, loss of earnings assessments, and various litigation support engagements for a wide variety of industry sectors.
