All too often, we find insureds who believe that because mold is no longer in the news every day, it should not be on their list of priorities. They often believe that their company will be protected against mold claims under their general liability or property policy or as a result of mold management protocols that they’ve instituted. Our experience shows, however, that this could not be further from the truth! Standard insurance policies and mold management protocols are not enough to respond to mold claims.
