Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor, today announced the appointment of Ryan A. Barber to the newly created role of Head of Industry Specialization within its U.S. Property Practice.

Reporting to Duncan Ellis, Marsh’s U.S. Property Practice Leader, Mr. Barber will be responsible for developing and implementing industry-based risk advisory and insurance placement strategies and solutions within the Property Practice.

Mr. Barber brings to Marsh more than 15 years of experience working with clients from a wide range of industries and with various levels of risk complexity. After spending the first seven years of his career with Marsh, Mr. Barber worked at Willis as a senior property broker and business development specialist.  Most recently he served as Co-Leader of Integro’s U.S. Property Practice.
