With rising workers’ compensation costs causing concern to many employers, Marsh will hold a one-hour webcast on April 11 at 11 a.m. ET to explore the cost containment methods companies can utilize.
Marsh’s webcast, “Controlling Workers’ Compensation Claims Costs,” will feature a discussion of the best practices available to improve workplace safety, reduce the frequency and severity of potential claims, manage medical and disability costs on existing claims, and close out legacy claims.
Experts from Marsh’s Casualty Practice will also update participants on the California workers’ compensation market, often seen as a bellwether for U.S. workers’ compensation trends.
The webcast panel participants are: David Abbene, Claims Consulting Practice Leader, Marsh Risk Consulting; Tracy Caffrey Ant, Primary Casualty Placement Leader, Marsh; Joyce Long, Global Workforce Practice Leader, Marsh Risk Consulting; and Scott Robinson, Principal, CS STARS.
Brian Elowe, a managing director in Marsh’s Global Risk Management Division, will moderate to discussion.
