Marsh today announced the appointment of Edwin Charnaud as Chairman of its Global Infrastructure Practice. Mr. Charnaud will be responsib
le for the strategic development of Marsh's Global Infrastructure Practice, which provides risk-based, analytical, and transactional support to infrastructure clients worldwide. Reporting to Jim Pierce, Chairman, Global Industries, he will continue to be based in London.
Mr. Charnaud will retain his current responsibilities as Leader of Marsh’s Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisitions (PEMA) Practice in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He will also retain his position as a non-executive director on the board of Kessler & Co. AG in Switzerland.
Commenting on Mr. Charnaud’s new role, Mr. Pierce said: “Edwin has developed an incisive understanding of the complex risks associated with global infrastructure projects over his years at Marsh. He will play a pivotal role in ensuring Marsh continues to address the complex and evolving risk needs of the public sector, equity investors, structured finance lenders, developers, and operators of infrastructure assets alike.”
