Marsh Webcast November 30—Wellness Solutions: Improving Health, Mitigating Risk, Reducing Cost
New York, November 18, 2011

Recognizing that employees’ health affects not only benefits costs, but also productivity, companies of all sizes are increasingly turning to wellness solutions as part of their employee benefits strategies.
Such strategies link wellness solutions to employee benefits with the goal of promoting healthier lifestyles and ultimately lowering costs and improving employee engagement and morale.
To show organizations the benefits such strategies can yield, Marsh will hold a one-hour webcast on Wednesday, November 30: “Wellness Solutions: Improving Health, Mitigating Risk, Reducing Cost.”
“More organizations are recognizing that in order to reduce rising health care costs they need to identify and address the underlying health issues impacting their workforce,” said Greg Arms, global leader of Marsh’s Employee Benefits Practice and one of the webcast panelists. “By transforming wellness into an aggressive health management strategy, organizations can help their employees live healthier lives, and at the same time reduce health care costs and improve productivity.”
In addition to Mr. Arms, the webcast will feature: Rick Babcock, a principal at Mercer; Dr. Lorna Friedman, M.D., a partner at Mercer; and John Snyder, CEO, Medical Excess, at Chartis.
The webcast will be moderated by Brian Elowe, a managing director in Marsh’s Global Risk Management division.
