Marsh Webcast October 26—Hot Topics and Innovations in Financial and Professional Liability
New York, October 19, 2011

Whether it is heightened enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) or the evolving world of cyber risk, organizations and their directors and officers face a host of new and expanding risks. As such, it is imperative that firms of all sizes maintain robust compliance programs combined with strong insurance protection.
To assist organizations in this process, Marsh will hold a one-hour webcast on Wednesday, October 26 at 11 a.m. ET to examine the latest trends in financial and professional liability and the innovations being introduced to address the risks.
Marsh’s webcast, “Hot Topics and Innovations in Financial and Professional Liability,” will also provide an update on current insurance market conditions for financial and professional insurance lines.
“Organizations are operating in an environment of heightened regulatory enforcement activity and increasingly large, frequent, and highly publicized data breaches that if not properly addressed, could lead to fines, lawsuits and reputational damage for the company,” said Chris Lang, a managing director in Marsh’s U.S. FINPRO Practice. “It is essential that risk managers understand these risks and how both strong compliance and insurance programs can help mitigate their organizations’ financial and professional liability exposures.”
In addition to Mr. Lang, participants in the webcast will include Manny Alas, partner and co-leader of Global FCPA Forensic Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers; Jack Flug, a managing director in Marsh’s U.S. FINPRO Practice; and Robert Parisi, cyber and technology product leader in Marsh’s U.S. FINPRO Practice. The webcast will be moderated by Brian Elowe, a managing director in Marsh’s Global Risk Management division.
